Avoice, What is it?
AVOICE Avoice was born from our will to meet farmers, actors (often) forgotten, in order to carry out their message on being a farmer and climate change. We provide a picture of farmers all around the world and tackle the vision they have of their own job, their relationship to the environment and their perception of climate change, on a farm scale as well as on a global scale..

Climate change is a reality, an omnipresent urgency in the current events. Farmers are the first being impacted by the modification of the climate. Indeed, agriculture is one of the causes but it can also be a solution. AVOICE will try to carry out the voice of these actors.
Make an inventory of the adaptation and mitigation activities.
The global goal is to maintain a food system more sustainable and resilient. Thus, it is essential to identify the different ways of adaptation and mitigation to climate change displayed by the farmers, on the farm scale as well as on the global scale.
Confront the different visions worldwide.
The study spreads over the 5 continents in order to tackle the differences and complementarities regarding: the vision of being a farmer, his relationship to climate change and environment, and the actions operated.
Our vision
At a time where negotiations over climate change are happening and after COP21, international discussions are intensifying between the Political Powers of the world. But the stake of climate change does not only include the politics: it is a global challenge for the whole humanity. Therefore, all the actors of the food system have to get involved and co-build initiatives for a more sustainable system.
